Best ball format with the best gross score between two players to count on each hole
Scramble format with both players hitting drives on each hole and playing their preferred ball on each shot to completion of the hole. Players are allowed to move the ball within a 12 inch area no closer to the hole in the same medium.
Two ball format- each player will hit a tee shot they will then select their tee shot of choice and play alternate shots until the hole is completed.
Local rules will govern. If in doubt, play two balls, keep a score for each ball and report the issue to the professional shop. All score cards will be signed by one team member of each team and handed in to the professional shop. Overall low gross for the day will receive the McArthur-McCormick trophy and first prize. In the event of a tie, a chip off will be held onto the 9th green. Prizes will be awarded for gross and net winners in each flight. Flight prizes will be awarded by retrogression.

The Dundas Valley Senior Men's Invitational held the innagural tournament in 2006 with the impetus of Gary Bartlett and Wally Berseth, and included Richard Dix, Cass Quinn and Thomas Nederpel, with the goal to bring Dundas Valley Golf Club into the spotlight and host a Senior Mens Golf event in the area. Over the years many Dundas Valley Golf Club members have contributed to the success of the event.
The Dundas Valley Senior Men's Invitational has supported charitable organizations (St Josephs Villa, Juravinski Cancer Foundation, City Kidz) and Club projects with any surplus. Sponsors and donators have come from financial institutions, independent companies and supportive members over the years. We initiated the tournament to be unique both in its format (2-man 6-6-6 play) and and its elaborate prize table for golf accumen and draws

Dundas Valley Golf Club is a Stanley Thompson designed course and is one of the most scenic and challenging in the area. The classic old-style strategic layout appeals to golfers of all abilities and offers a challenge to low handicap players but is not intimidating to the higher handicap player.
